Dear Caryn:
Last week, and last Wednesday specifically, was a time frame in my life that I will never forget.
I had to take my mother for chemo and radiation therapy and it became very obvious that she was going to need a wig. Fortunately, my sister’s hairdresser at Vito’s Hair Odyssey recommended you. Your compassion, care and understanding were a huge relief to both my mother and to me. Your immediate attention to her needs and your expert advice are probably routine to you, but I can’t begin to tell you how much you helped get me through a critical psychological trauma.
My mother was very happy with your work and the wig is beautiful. On Friday, she was talking to one of the nurses, and the nurse remarked that at some point my mother might have to get a wig because hair loss is almost always a side effect of the therapy. The nurse was shocked when my mother told her that she already got the wig and was wearing it!
Money is important but it was not a factor in Mom’s decision to buy from you. In fact, she didn’t even ask the amount until you had finished cutting her hair and shaping the wig and the turban. The fact that your wig was $265 less than a salon that she had just left was also a big relief.
Thank you and God bless you,
Bob P.
Dear Caryn:
I can’t thank you enough for all of your help with my first hairpiece. You made this experience very comforting for me. Above all, you have put my mind at ease; and for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Sincerely,
Karen R.
P.S. You wouldn’t believe how many compliments I’m getting! Love it!!
I have been a client at JMC Hairwear for the past six years. My hair started thinning after giving birth to my daughter. I was very upset and emotional and embarrassed to be seen without my baseball cap.
A friend of mine, who is a nurse, recommended that I see Caryn and trust her to pick the best thing for me. Well, that was six years ago and thank God I did, because now my hair is the last thing I worry about. It always looks good with my “Hair Helper”.
Thank you JMC,
Miranda S.
Dear JMC:
Thank you so much for your donation of wigs. It is needed donations such as yours that enable us to broaden our scope of services to the cancer patients in our area who cannot afford such items. Anything to help them while they’re undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment, and then after their surgery, is of great help to us.
We want to take this moment to thank you for your support of our programs to help people with cancer.
Sincerely,
Heather Kennell

Dear Caryn:
A very special thank you for donating wigs and hairpieces to be utilized by our cancer patients. Our inventory is extremely low, so we appreciate you thinking of us as well as the patients’ needs.
The American Cancer Society’s mission includes patient services and rehabilitation. We offer a Look Good … Feel Better program that provides assistance with skin and hair needs for women going through treatment.
Thanks for your help in providing us with these much needed items.
Sincerely,

I been going to Caryn since 1998, and she is just awesome. I love the shop, and all the work she does. She has a gift, and it shows everytime I go see her. I had moved out of South Florida, but I travel everytime to see her only throughout the years. I thank you Caryn, for all your help, and may God Bless you always.
Thanks
